(Pink Sheets: GTKP), announced today, in conjunction with its development partner Container Security Logistics, LLC (“CSL”) that it intends to respond to the Customs and Border Protection (“CBP”) Request For Information (“RFI”) titled “Solicitation number: Reference-Number-RFICSD Title : 58 — RFI for Conveyance Security Devices”.
According to Questions and Answers – Posted on January 26, 2008 on http://www.fbo.gov Department of Homeland Security’s Business Opportunities Office stated, “In June 2002, CBP issued a RFI in an effort to solicit CSD (container security device) COTS (current of the shelf) technology. Seventy-five (75) submissions were received and CBP conducted extensive laboratory and field testing on those devices. However, the CSDs that were submitted did not meet CBP’s operational needs. With the issuance of this RFI, CBP is re-initiating contact with industry in hopes that improvements have been made pertaining to CSD technology.”
