James B. Kadtke
From 2006 Dr. Kadtke has served as Senior Fellow at the National Defense University performing national security policy research. From 2002-2006 served as Science and National Security Advisor to the office of Senator John Warner, US Senate. Designee on Senate Armed Services Committee and staff advisor on science/technology, defense, and homeland security issues. From 2001-2002 he served as Policy Advisor to the Committee on Science, US House of Representatives. From 1999-2001 he served as Policy Analyst at Rand Science & Technology Policy Institute, supporting the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. From 1991-2001 Dr. Kadtke managed his own scientific research group at Scripps Institute of Oceanography, conducting research on physic and information science applied to defense and intelligence. From 1988-2001 he also served as Vice President and Chief Scientist at Nonlinear Solutions Inc. Dr. Kadtke holds an MS & Ph.D. in physics from Brown University and has over 65 research publications and four patents to his credit.
